Where it all started...
We have been around for almost 150 years! Our first meeting was held on September 26th, 1875, in a dugout near neighboring Calvert. In 1885, we moved to the current location at 208 N. Kansas in Norton, Kansas, where a new church building was constructed.
In 1957, the previous building became too small for the congregation, and the current church building was built and dedicated. An expansion project was done in 1981. We are currently in the process of another expansion, as we have been blessed to see a significant growth in not only Sunday attendance, but also for our ever-growing number of ministries that occur during the week!
We have always been fortunate to not only have solid Christian Leadership, but a congregation that has a heart for the Lord and service to our community.

Expanding the vision...
Our goal is to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to everyone that we come into contact with. At NCC we not only want to walk with you through your salvation and baptism, but on your faith journey as well. We don't want to leave you at the start, we strive to be with you as you mature in Christ and go on to serve and help others on their path. We are disciple-makers, building disciple-makers!
Where we are headed...
We stand on the truth of scripture and the power of the Holy Spirit. In a dark world, we're asked to be the city on the hill and a light. We don't take that lightly (no pun intended), because it means bringing the hope and love of Jesus Christ to our neighbors and friends in our community that we care deeply about. We want to honor God with our words and actions, and help you find your place in our church community and with the Lord. We do this together!
Be a part of our story...
Join us every Sunday as we gather to worship together at 8;30 and 10:45 am.
